Depart to the Zaanse Schans in the afternoon to have lunch at De Hoop op D’Swarte Walvis, where the history of Zaanstreek is perfectly represented. In the afternoon, Kaatje Slagter, one of the 22 residents of the Zaanse Schans, welcomes you inside her house and takes you on a private village walk. End this day with dinner at ‘The Garden of Amsterdam’ to remain in and enjoy the countryside atmosphere before heading back to the hotel.
