As we all know, Beijing is the political, cultural, economic and education center of the nacion and also is the centre most important of China for international trade and communications.
The town of Beijing was also the seat of the Qing and Ming dynasty emperors until the development of a republic in 1911. While here guests will also visit the Gu Bei water town where row upon row of old houses, old quartzite streests and Hutongs epitomize the simplicity and elegance of a previous era. River channels are scattered between streets; houses near the river are bathed in sunlight.
While visitors to Beijing must see the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, this short program can be added for those that would like to slow down, spend time with the locals and get a feel for day to day life in Beijing.
