Walk through the Land of the Pharaohs, with so many monuments and places still preserved with an ancient look and feel. Start at the Pyramids in Cairo before continuing to Luxor, the “world’s greatest open-air museum”, where the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city and most of the ruins and tombs still remain on the west bank of the Nile. While on a cruise great and well preserved temples will be visited when passing through Edfu and Kom Ombo and arriving Aswan. Here the river is wide, slow and beautiful, with colorful Nubian villages that feature the traditions of the lives of the Nubians. End with a visit to the iconic temples of Abu Simbel, situated on the western bank of Lake Nasser, south of Aswan.
